Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Free local delivery (CH Postcodes). Furthermore local deliveries are made using hiab/crane wagons, our wagons have appoximately 10 foot reach. Tpyically speaking delivery issues are rare but in the event you are anxious about access or any other forseeable issues feel free to contact us on 0151 327 5555.

The delivery date depends on the service level ordered. We aim to deliver all orders within 4 working days (where stock is available). If there is a delay, we will contact you when your order has been placed to discuss re-arranging delivery. 

Palletline / Haulage (48 Hours): Subject to availability - If your order is placed before 10am, your order will be prepared and palletised ready for same day collection providing it is Monday - Friday. Deliveries using haulage companies typcially take two working days for delivery.

We will do our upmost to prepare and dispatch any order that is received after 10am on a working day (Mon - Fri). Should this not be possible, we you will notify you by phone or email, and you can expect to receive your order on the second working day following your order.

Redeliveries with hauliers

 If you are unable to accept goods a redelivery charge & a surcharge will be made. This will be estimated when necessary. 

All delivery charges will be applied at check out.

 

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION WITH HAULIERS

DELIVERIES WILL BE MADE BY A VEHICLE WITH A TAILIFT AND A PALLET TRUCK, LIMITING WHERE ITEMS CAN BE PLACED. A CRANE / HI AB OFFLOAD TRUCK IS NOT AN OPTION FOR DELIVERY. 

It is the customers responsibility to make sure we have a working telephone contact number for you.  
You should make sure there is sufficient access for a large tail lift vehicle to get to the delivery point. 
The drop location needs to be a flat solid surface, accessible by large vehicles (up to 18 tonne vehicles.) Your property will need a dropped kerb. If this is not the case, an alternative delivery point will need to be arranged.  
The manual pallet trucks that the driver use, cannot be operated on any uneven ground such as gravel, grass, inclines or declines etc.  It is your responsibility to make sure the driver has access! If you have any questions at all, best to call us or message for more details regarding the logistics of delivery.
Ideally should make sure somebody is available to accept your delivery and to sign for the goods.

It is your responsibility when ordering to ensure these requirements are met! Failing delivery could result in a re-delivery charge costing you £30.00 upwards per pallet!

Typically speaking we very rarely have issues regarding delivery, or orders in general & have the feedback to back our success through Ebay. However it is important to be thorough when placing a order to nullify the possibly of any failed deliveries, especially due to the weight of the goods!

If nobody is home, the driver will attempt to leave the goods in the most suitable place. We at Vercroft Ltd are not responsible for goods left after delivery.
All deliveries will be made to kerbside unless specified otherwise. As our hauliers are not insured to take goods onto your premises without your permission.

With your permission, and at the drivers discretion, your materials may be offloaded directly onto your premises, however any damages caused to the goods delivered, or any property including (but not limited to) Manholes, Tarmac Driveways, Block Paved Driveways, Trees, Buildings, Gates, Gate Posts, Fences, Overhead Cables etc. are not the responsibility of Vercroft Ltd.
 Following delivery all items should be thoroughly inspected.
Delivery will be made between 8am - 6pm on the day arranged.  We cannot offer timed deliveries or an estimated time for delivery. 
The delivery company will make every effort to deliver the goods on the agreed date, but this can never be guaranteed. Unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or break downs can occur in very few cases and in which case, we will make sure someone contacts you to re-arrange the delivery.
Any damages should be noted and documented. You should inform us of these damages by phone and in writing (email) within 24 hours. You should include images of all damaged objects. 
Once the goods have been removed from the bag and laid, refunds are no longer available due to contamination.
The customer is responsible for the disposal of any pallets and bulk bags after use.
