Delivery & Returns

Delivery Day

The delivery date depends on the service level ordered. We aim to deliver all orders within 7 working days (where stock is available). More details below.

Corfe Stone: Following receipt of your order we will call you on the number you provide to confirm your order and arrange a delivery date. Deliveries will be with you within four working days.  If there is a delay, we will contact you when your order has been placed to discuss re arranging delivery.  !!FREE DELIVERY TO CH POSTCODES!!

Palletline / Haulage (Next Day): Subject to availability - If your order is placed before 10am, you order will be prepared and palletised ready for same day collection (providing it is Monday - Friday), and will be delivered to you the next working day.

We will do our upmost to prepare and dispatch any order that is received after 10am on a working day (Mon - Fri). Should this not be possible, we you will notify you by phone or email, and you can expect to receive your order on the second working day following your order.

Palletline / Haulage (Economy): Subject to availability - If your order is placed before 10am, you order will be prepared and palletised ready for same day collection, and will normally be delivered to you within 2 working days from the date of collection.

 

Redeliveries

If you are unable to accept goods a redelivery charge & a surcharge will be made. This will be estimated when necessary.

 

Delivery Procedure:

All delivery charges will be applied at check out.

Local Deliveries (Include, but not limited to, the Wirral, Chester & Ellesmere Port).

DELIVERY IS FREE TO CH POSTCODES

Following receipt of your order we will:

  • Confirm by phone call, also confirming delivery date.
  • Deliveries will be made by a Crane wagon (where possible).
  • Deliveries are to kerbside only, however with the customers permission exceptions can be made.

 Parcels

Following receipt of your order we will:

  • Call and confirm your order to ensure all materials are correct.
  • Parcels will be booked in and prepared for dispatch ready for your selected service level (economy, next day etc).
  • When collected you will receive an email notification confirming the shipping of your order (website orders only).
  • You, the customer should make sure somebody is in at the shipping address to receive the goods, to ensure you do not incur a redelivery charge.

Pallets

  • Call and confirm your order to ensure all materials are correct.
  • Your order will be prepared for collection. When collected you will receive an email notification confirming the shipping of your order (website orders only).
  • You should make sure somebody is available to accept your parcel delivery to ensure you do not incur a redelivery charge, these can be expensive.
  • You should make sure you have sufficient access for a delivery vehicle to ensure delivery can be made. Unsure? Call us and check.
  • All deliveries will be made to kerbside only, as our service providers are not insured to take goods onto your premises without your permission.
  • With your permission, and at the drivers discretion, your materials may be offloaded directly onto your premises, however any damages caused to the goods delivered, or any property including (but not limited to) Manholes, Tarmac Driveways, Block Paved Driveways, Trees, Buildings, Gates, Gate Posts, Fences, Overhead Cables etc.
  • Deliveries are made by a vehicle with a tail lift and a pallet truck, limiting where items can be placed.
  • Following delivery all items should be thoroughly inspected.
  • Any damages should be noted and documented. You should inform us of these damages by phone and in writing (email) within 24 hours. You should include images of all damaged objects.
  • We will always request that our pallet delivery companies call you, the customer, 1 hour before delivery is made.
  • Crane off load can be arranged for orders over 7 pallets. Subject to availability. Please call for details.

 

8          DELIVERY

 8.1        Goods supplied to 80% of the UK mainland properties and will normally be delivered within 5 working days of acceptance of order and will be delivered by secure means to the address given by the Buyer at the time the order was placed.

 8.2        Goods will not be supplied outside the UK.

 8.3        Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, the Buyer will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or receive a full refund.

 8.4        The Supplier shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery.  In any event, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the Supplier shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.

 8.5        Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyer’s address specified in the order and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.

 8.6        Risk in the Goods shall passed to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods, or where the Buyer fails to take delivery at the agreed time, at the time delivery was attempted.

 8.7        Title in the Goods shall not pass to the Buyer until payment of the price has been made in full.

 8.8     Next Day Delivery is available to 75% of the UK Mainland. To qualify, orders must be received before 9.00 am. Funds must be received before the order will be dispatched.

 8.9     Next day delivery is subject to stock availability, please contact us on the details provided at the bottom of the page to check stock.

8.10     Where possible with bulk orders, deliveries will be made via crane offload. If not possible, a palletline service will be used and delivery will be via use of pallet trucks. The customer must ensure this option is viable.

 

9          CANCELLATION AND RETURN

 9.1        If you place an order online and cancel the contract before any goods have been dispatched, a refund will be credited to your account less an administration charge of £20.00.

 9.2        If you cancel your contract after your goods have been dispatched a refund will be credited to your account less already incurred haulage charges of £30.00 per tonne bag.

 9.3        Cancellation of a bulk order (goods delivered loose/on a tipper vehicle) up to 24 hours before delivery a refund will be credited to the buyers account less a £20.00 administration charge.

 9.4        Cancellation of a bulk order (goods delivered loose/on a tipper vehicle) after the delivery has left the premises on route to your delivery address; a refund will be credited less any haulage charges already incurred. This value will be calculated after cancelation and will depend upon the load size and the distance travelled by the vehicle.

 9.5        Cancellation of a bulk order (goods delivered loose/on a tipper vehicle) after the delivery has already been made, it will be the buyers responsibility to return the goods to the supplier.     

9.6        A cancelation of the buyers order after delivery will result in a full refund, once the goods have been returned to the supplier, at your cost, as per the Distance Selling Regulations.
