This composite edging unit is compatible with Moorland walling and portrays the rustic appearance of random pieces of slate laid on end. In certain cases the weight of the unit may be sufficient to act as a retaining edge if the units are simply butt joined and laid on a compact surface or in a shallow earth trough.
